Re: No Flasheff effect after movie exported! - 14 years ago
Let me get this straight, once you save the file then close it when you open it the animation is not there? Make sure you leave enough frames for the animation to finish.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: can someone help me with the code for this: - 14 years ago
In the package there is a Tutorial Files\Document Class Example folder. Here you'll find a external call very well build that can give you a good example of how flasheff runs from script. If you don't have it in your package, download it again from www.flasheff.comby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Setting XY causes effect to not show - 14 years ago
Hi, Unfortunately there is no apparent reason for that problem and I can't imagine why it should throw that error. I would be willing to look at the files if you either write to the support staff and attach the file or upload it to a FTP server and give me the link. Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: can someone help me with the code for this: - 14 years ago
The easiest for you would be to open the slideShow example that you got when you have downloaded the package from FlashEff.com and then, go to the xml file and put the names of your swf. Remember to put the swf in the correct folder. Let me know if you have trouble with this. Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Loop. Images stay one over each other. - 14 years ago
Mike, There is no better way of using a preloader with FlashEff because it will work in either way. I usually Create my flash animation using FLashEff, and then create a new swf in which I will load my animation created with FlashEff and I can guarantee that it will work every time. There is a thread that talks about preloaders and if you look, you'll see some preloaders I've made. Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: flasheff2 problems with UIloader - 14 years ago
Hi, This is weird, I have no idea why that happens, please open a ticket with the support team and they will give you a fix:by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Errors in AS3 Usage Doc - 14 years ago
I'm having trouble understanding what patterns are you trying to import or do. Could you show me a sample fla file? If uploading it to a fpt is not an option please open a ticket and attach it there.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: OSX trial to full version question - 14 years ago
Remove the trial version and install the Premium version.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Please Help with Exporting SWF - 14 years ago
We used a software called After Effects(Adobe). If you really want to capture the animations in a video, you'd have to use a video capturing software(search google).by Ionut - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: New Buttons are Null after adding EFF2 - 14 years ago
So, just to be clear, you create a button in a new .fla file and if you test it here it works, but if you drag it into your project it won't work. Am I right? This is really weird, never happened to me or anyone I know. I would insist that you send your fla(the one with the problem) to our support staff and they will fix your problem. Re: New Buttons are Null after adding EFF2 - 14 years ago
I have no idea why it's null, it should not be. Please open a ticket, attach the .fla file and the support team will look at it.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Station Panels Effect does not work - 14 years ago
Sometimes because of the movieclips you can get this error but a quick fix is to delete the target and create it again.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: FETAlpha char setting doesn't work - 14 years ago
There is a parameter that you need to edit is called preset, and you'll need to set it to "char" which stands for character. After you have done that make sure you have a big difference between the groupDuration parameter and the tween duration parameter or else you won't get the effect that you want(tweenDuration must be bigger). Hope this helps, -Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Animating Filter Effects - 14 years ago
Most of the patterns will work this way but some patterns that use bitmap data won't work but at the end of the day it all comes down to testing the ground and see what patterns work combined with other patterns?by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Loop. Images stay one over each other. - 14 years ago
Hi, To be completely honest I just put the images where I thought the image above would start animating, but you could have calculated exactly where to put it. Multiply the tweenDuration with the frames per second and then subtract that number from your frame position of the image below. Does that make any sense? I think I could come up with a better explination if I kept thinking for a while.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Loop. Images stay one over each other. - 14 years ago
Hi mike, Here is a link to a file I made for you. Please take a look and let me know what you think: To create a button just place it on any frames and it will work the same as any ordinary button. -Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Loop. Images stay one over each other. - 14 years ago
You almost got it. On the 2nd layer move the frame from 120th to 121st Do the same thing for the rest of the layers, making sure the layer start exactly from where the previous one ended. Hope I am making sense, if not, let me know and I'll give you my fla file, -Ionut.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Loop. Images stay one over each other. - 14 years ago
Hi mike, You need to put each photo on a separate layer but still keep the same frame setting as you did in your example(leave blank frames before and after the photo). Let me know how it turns out, Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Positioning Text - 14 years ago
You can't do that. FlashEff2 has patterns(like FETLetterClouds) that takes snapshots of the target and it's background and uses that to create the animation.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Positioning Text - 14 years ago
All of our patterns are made with our own engine, everything you see is made with FlashEff.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0

Hi, Check out the tutorials on the main page, if you still don't know how to use FlashEff let me know where did you get stuck.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: How to move to next frame - 14 years ago
Have you looked at the tutorials? There are many tutorials that show you just that. Create enough frames and then place the new text. To create enough frames multiply the duration of the first animation with the fps + the delay that you want to be in between the 1st and the 2nd effect multiply with the fps. Hope this helps, -Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Some letters of text partially cut off... - 14 years ago
HI, Make sure the text is embeded before compiling it. The choping of the last letters is because of a bug in Adobe Flash, I usually avoid by putting space in the back or a dot. Let me know if it helps, -Ionutby Ionut - FlashEff 2.0

No, you can't. But this option might be possible in the later version of FlashEff2.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0

Grab the component and the target and create a new symbol(press F8). Let me know if it helps. -Ionut.by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Access presets via AS3 - 14 years ago
0.5 sec is not longer than 1.3. 0.5 represents the time that the animation uses to animate every group of characters (depending what you selected could be letters, words, line, etc). If you want each of the chracters to animate for a longer time you'd have to set the group duration to, let's say 1.5, and the tweenDuration to 5 and then you'd see a difference. Now, to answer your question, 0.5by Ionut - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Java Script error!!! 8-) - 14 years ago
