Flash Eff to Premiere - the journey from .swf to .avi

Hi everyone and thanx for answering to my previous post on the embebed text!

Now, …, what I am trying to do is to make some cool text eff on flash and later take them into Premiere to do a nice cool 1:30 min movie.

The issue is that all .swf to .avi converters that I ve downloaded are not allowing me to convert the .swf file.

Anyone with previous experience that could help me out?

You can't convert swf made with FlashEff to avi because FlashEff uses code to create the animation which can't be translated to avi.

As i know, there are many swf to avi converter can do the conversion !

But maybe you really have a bad luck on choosing program~

Well, if you want to find a swf to avi converter, i recommend one which i' ve used, you can go and convert swf to avi: swf2avi

Then how would you recommend playing your flash on a tv? What file format would work best? Any?

If you have a HDMI port on your TV you could connect your PC (assuming you also have an HDMI on your PC) and play the SWF.
Or, you could use a capturing software to capture your animation and export it as a video. Do a google search with the terms: Screen Capture Software and you will see alot of examples most of them free.

Here is a tutorial about how to convert SWF to AVI on Mac.

The tool mentioned in it also has a windows version. You can pick one according to your need.

I know the free online converting service YouConvertIt can do the conversion. But you video is so big sized, it may takes a lot time in video uploading.

I use this swf to video converter for changing SWF to AVI, Mp4, 3Gp etc.

well, use xflip to achieve this easily.
