Here is an example on how to use the FlashEff component, from a document class. There are comments explaining the use of the component and patterns.

I am trying to add a flashEffect child to a movieclip programmatically for a slideshow. While I can do , myMovieClip.addChild(flashEffect); I can't set the _targetInstanceName once it is nested. Any insight?
