Re: two show effects - 14 years ago
Unfortunately you can not apply two effects on a target object in the same time but you could try to apply one of the effect directly on the target then place the target together with the flasheff instance into another container then apply another flasheff effect on that container. This method could work with a few combination of patterns but there could also be patterns that uses bitmapdata aby florodebat - FlashEff 2.0
Re: Flashe Header sample - 14 years ago
breakthru, there is a "tweenDuration" parameter which sets the duration of the transitions. That parameter can be set inside the FlashEff2 panel under Show> Tween>Use Custom Tweening>tweenDuration & Hide> Tween>Use Custom Tweening>tweenDuration. You will have to increase that value in order to have a longer effect.by florodebat - FlashEff 2.0
Re: testing the demoversion with CS3 - 14 years ago
talex, 1. Please check the video tutorial bellow in order to see how to apply a flasheff animation on a textfield object: 2. You can organize the animation on a single frame then use the FlashEff2 show and hide "delay" parameter to launch the flasheff animations on different moments. You could also organize your animation on multiple frames. Check the video tutorial bellowby florodebat - FlashEff 2.0
Re: How set time delay between show and hide? - 14 years ago
vgallafrio, There is a "delay" parameter for each transition type which will determine the time in seconds till the show and the hide transition will start. Those parameters can be set in the FlashEFf2 panel Show>Options>delay & Hide>Options>delay. The tweenDuration can also be set in the FlashEff2 panel Show > Tween> CustomTween> tweenDuration.by florodebat - FlashEff 2.0

Re: _targetInstanceName and nested items - 14 years ago
You can use "target" property instead of "targetInstanceName" to set a target which is placed on a different level. Lets say you have a movieClip called "targetClip" which is placed inside to another movieClip which is called "parentClip". Bellow is the code you will have to write to apply flasheff on the "targetClip": flashEffInsatnceName.by florodebat - FlashEff 2.0

Re: What can be done - 14 years ago
Hello, There is no limit on how many flasheff instances can be used in a fla file. Please check the "timline_animations.fla" file from the free FlashEff2 downloaded package in order to learn how to use multiple flasheff instances in the same file. There is also a FlashEff2 video tutorial where multiple flasheff instances are used to create a flash header. Click the link bellow to wby florodebat - FlashEff 2.0
Re: frame components "blinking" on briefly before the flasheff is applied... - 14 years ago
@aasun FlashEff is a very complex component that is based on a large amount of code and it seems that the Flash Player does not manage to initialize the component on the first frame of the animation. To solve that issue you will have to place all the flasheff instances together with their targets on the second frame of a new movieclip then add a "stop" command above the second framby florodebat - FlashEff 2.0

Re: FECCallfunction : how to use ? - 14 years ago
In the"functionPath" field you will have to write the function name (firstPlan) and if the called function is on different level then you will have to specify the path to the function using " dot " notation. The " parameters " field is optional and there it should be passed the parameter for the called function. Also, please watch the video tutorial from the liby florodebat - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: You donĀ“t have access to this pattern - 15 years ago
@javiadas Please uninstall FlashEff first then install it again following my instructions. 1. Open Flash CS4 and go to Help/Manage Extensions menu 2. Once the Extension Manager opens, press the Install button and choose the FlashEff's mxp file. It's important to launch the Extension Manager from Flash CS4 directly. 3. Start an AS3.0 project. The component should be there. If not, restartby florodebat - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)

Re: How to Colorize FETParticle? - 15 years ago
Unfortunately the FETParticle does not have the option to modify the color of the particles. However you can use the FESSparkle pattern istead which is very similar to FETParticle and which has a property that can change the color of the particles.by florodebat - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: How do I loop this text effect? - 15 years ago
if you have only one effect that you want to loop you can use the following code: import com.jumpeye.Events.FLASHEFFEvents; fe.addEventListener(FLASHEFFEvents.TRANSITION_END, endHdl); function endHdl(evt:FLASHEFFEvents) { fe.show(); } fe is the instance name of your FlashEff component.by florodebat - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
