no error, no output, minimal as3 example does not work

hi i spent now hours to get your component running in my application but nothing is displayed.
so i build a minimal demo with only a few lines of codes and also nothing is displayed.

can you please help me and spent a little more time in documenting the use in as3 source codes without the timeline and IDE (just for the people who do all with code)

The problem was you didn't embed the font in the Library and the text format should have been set to the text field before the text is set. Please see the file.
