dynamic text question

I have a paragraph of text that I would like to use and effect on. Problem is the text needs to be broken up by word, for example "hello there" is two words.
"hello" needs to be in gil sans lite white and "there" needs to be in gil sans regular yellow. As far as I know you cannot change text or color of text within a dynamic text field. Ah, I think I just answered my own question! What if I take the text phrase, make it in static text, change the static text to a symbol and use a symbol effect? I'm not in front of my computer and won't be for a few more hours, can someone tell me if this will work?

For something like that I would make each word there own dynamic text block and set them on their own timelines. Then I would just adjust the show/hide times for each to make them load and play in sync. But I'm not sure if that is the most efficient way to do this.

na, just did it by changing entire text (static) so a symbol, works fine.

thx
