chicodasilva You can avoid this by creating your objects on different layers and then put flasheff layer under the other layers. If you created your objects and flasheff with code, you have to set flasheff index to zero (flasheffTarget.setChildIndex("FlashEff",0)) Adrianby kneo - FlashEff 2.0

wcicdmh, You are referring to a specific flasheff2 pattern, or to flasheff2 component? I am asking because the component have some fla based patterns like FETParticle, FEFGlittering, FESLensGlare and FESShimmer (for example:In FESShimmer you can change the stars with hearts). kurst, Simple, in flashEff panel on button tab->command tab-> add FECCallFunction. In functionPath box write parent.parent.gotoAndStop method ( you have parent.parent.gotoAndStop because you are within 2 movie clips and timeline is two level up) then in parameter box write the frame where you want to go. i believe your problem is at the end because you call hide method and before that you set autoPlay false just set hideAutoPlay true and delete myEffect.hide() and it will work perfectlyby kneo - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)

hei for a easy way to succed look at the following steps: 1- put the loader(instanceName- ldr) and flashEff (instanceName- fe) on scene 2- put the loader in a blank movieClip(instanceName myMovieClip) 3- set the targetInstanceName of the flashEff to myMovieClip 4-in your action frame put the following code import com.jumpeye.flashEff.symbol.blur.FESBlur import com.jumpeye.Events.Loadby kneo - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)

bressst maybe your problem is different from the others...so you may need to add a blank keyframe next to the last frame. if not, just see what is your frame rate and how many frames do you have, in order to check the seconds you set for flash effby kneo - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)

twogeeks from what i see in your example you want effect to repeat after 44 seconds so in order to work i think that the simple way is to add a blank keyframe next to last frame....on the layer on which you have flash effby kneo - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)

i suppose the simple way to do it is like in my example: you create a additional blank keyframe to frame on which the text is so that flasheff reinstantiate the object,then you create a counter and you verify when the animation loops third time...depending on that you go to frame 1 and replay it or stop it at the last frameby kneo - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
