Re: Loading images sequentially from an XML file - 14 years ago
Hi Ionut, I just happened to be going through old emails and noticed that there was in fact a response to my question from a month ago! Thanks. I don't know how I missed it but I hope you're still available to help me with this. Could you please modify my AS to include your solution, and reprint the entire code with your solution. ldr1.source = myXML.image[1] refers to the second of the3 imageby johnnyc333 - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Loading images sequentially from an XML file - 14 years ago
I have a flash movie which loads a single image from an xml file into a UILLoader inside a FlashEff enhanced MC (FESFlashSlide). How would I modify the code below so that it would load a different image every 4 seconds or whenever it returns to frame 1 (which would be a better way to do it if that's possible). I've attached the FLA in case that helps. Thanks, John SCRIPT: var myXML:XML;by johnnyc333 - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: ActionScript (3) code for Loading with UILoader and ProgressBar component - 14 years ago
There's probably no one checking this post anymore but here goes anyway. I've been designing graphics in Flash for a while, but I've never gotten very far with AS at all. Now I'm determined to learn AS 3.0. Of course I can pretty much learn only when I see something working and then analyze it. Can you tell me exactly what else I need (other than the swf in a folder called swfs) for the abovby johnnyc333 - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Import path for FlashEff patterns - 14 years ago
How would one of these be referenced in the script? For example, if i want to apply FESFlip to movie clip "MC_1," what would the script be and where would it be? Also can you do the custom settings like tween duration, etc. in script? Thanks, Johnby johnnyc333 - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Adding xml to a flash eff pattern - 14 years ago
I'm new to FlashEff and I have no idea how to integrate a flasheff movie with an xml script that will rotate images. Please take a look at this SWF: . What I'm looking for is to have the images in each movie clip change every cycle. Let's say 4 images for each of the 3 movie clips. The menu tab in the FlashEff panel has options for adding XML, so I'm assuming that's how it would be done. Sincby johnnyc333 - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
