Additional emitters or particles

Is there a way I can add my own emitters or particles to FlashEFF2? The reason I ask is that I want to purchase FlashEFF2 to create a WebSite flash banner and be able to change the background effects depending on the season. Such as the snow emitter currently included for winter. I was looking to add leaves for fall or xmas ornaments for Christmas or hearts for Valentines Day but leave the rest of the banner as is.

If I'm not able to add new emitters, is there any chance these type of objects will be added in future releases of FlashEFF2?

You are referring to a specific flasheff2 pattern, or to flasheff2 component?
I am asking because the component have some fla based patterns like FETParticle, FEFGlittering, FESLensGlare and FESShimmer (for example:In FESShimmer you can change the stars with hearts). Here you can see for yourself how all patterns work included those mention by me:
