Replaying the effect in a MovieClip

I've created a movie clip in the library which animates some text, which all works fine. What I need to do is replay it whenever the user brings it to the front, so if you imagine I'm bringing it to the front with addChild(myTextClip) and I need to tell it to replay the animation with something like myTextClip.FlashEFF2.play() ?

Please be more specific, I don't understand what you are trying to do.
