I'm doing everything through AS3...
I have a dynamic text field where the text changes out on a timer event every few seconds - I use flasheff to animate the new text in out. The problem is that the flasheff filter 'DropShadow' goes away after the first show/hide. I've tried 'MoonShine' and set refresh to true thinking that might help.. no luck. My guess is it has to do with bitmapdata and not being able to draw shadow properly with new bits of text. I just want the shadow to be on all the time... no such luck. The regular flash drop shadow does not work.
Any suggestions?

bhobman,
I am not sure how exactly your animation is structured but the dropShadow filter should work continuously in that scenario if you are not using any remove method. Please open a new support ticket ,attach your source files along with a detailed description of that problem and the guys from the technical department will provide the solution for you.
