First Attempt - Re-aligns Text??
April 28, 2010 04:02PM
Ok, so this is my first attempt using FlashEFF2.

I did a simple text animation and have a problem with layout/alignment.

Can anyone tell me why they mis-align when I test the movie (run the .swf)?

It's a 728x90 banner.
Here is the image with the FlashEff2 component applied:

Here is what the .swf looks like when played.

Thanks,

There are a few other users that experienced the same textfiled issue. Unfortunately so far we did not managed to find what exactly causes that problem. We tried to replicate it following the instructions other users provided to us, but without success. All we know a this moment is that the problem can be fixed by recreating the textfield. However we would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to provide us some information about that issue.
Are the text fields animated with flasheff created into another software then imported in Flash?
If the text fields are created directly in Flash, could you please let us know the exact steps you are making in order to create them (a screen capture will be more than helpful)? Thank you.

Thanks for the response - I sent the .fla to support.

First I created the text fields in Photoshop and did a full import of the banner. That didn't work as seen above.
But then I started all over and created each text field in Flash (3 times)...and it has never worked as seen above.

Thanks - I will be awaiting a response from support since they have the original .fla
