Effects on pics, how?

Hi guys,
I am not sure if this forum includes the TxEff2 components also, but i will
try to post here and see what happends :D

Ok first i dont know what is the deference between the TxEff2 and FlashEff...is the FlashEff the newer version?
If so my question is: can i do effects on pictures with TxEff2? cuz i tried to use a "Symbol Patterns" with pictures
but i got this message: "Target must be a TextField object!"

But i have read in this page that i can use a Symbol Patterns with pics also
