When I apply the 'low transmission' show effect to a movie clip (an imported and embedded flv made into an MC) the transition runs but the movie then stops...usually leaving a white screen. Support gave me some code to stop the effect after the transition but that didn't really do anything.
I have tested the badTransition effect on a movieClip which contains a video and it worked fine for me without being need to use the removeAll() method. You said you opened a ticket regarding that issue. Please attach your source files there and I am sure that the technical team will provide a solution for you too.
