Having problem while using FETScramble effect !

Hi,
I'm not able to implement the text effects (eg:FETScramble)
When i apply these effects and then test the movie, nothing is displayed on the screen..!
I have done things according to the manual.
Do we need to write something in actions panel ?
Can anyone please help on this topic ?

You don't necessarily need to write code for the animation to take place. If you are saying that you apply the effect and nothing is showing up and there are no error or warning messages displayed, then it is possible that you didn't embed the characters. Please make sure that you embedded the characters (the Embed button on the Properties panel of the text fields).
