On Using Flex 3 to create Flash AS3 classes

Using Serge Jespers's method of using Flex 3 to build AS3 classes that can be used in Flash CS4 I was able to build an AS3 class(swc file) that would create a FEBBorderGlow button for web page navigation. The .swc file can be added to your .fla file.

This may seem like a lot of work rather than just using the .as class file directly , but I like the Flex Builder GUI and using a .swc file seemed like a more flexable (no pun intended) method.

Iwould be interested in thought and comments on this.

I am just beginning to study Flex 3 and am most interested in the workflow from Flash (which I work in regularly) and Flex... cool idea to use Flex to create useful actions in Flash.
