Importing Flash Eff

Am I supposed to import flash eff and the patterns in the external preloader or the actual swf file? And if so, how do I do this?

There is a tutorial on how to do something similar with what you wanna do, the only difference is that the tutorial is for TxEff2, a similar tool created by Jumpeye Components.
