Launching E-mail Client from a FlashEFF button.

Hi all.

I believe this is fairly simple yet I'm having an issue with it.

How do I lauch the email client from a button? If within the "Button" tab under "Command" I set the "eventtype" to Press, the URL to mailto:mail@yourmail.com, what goes in the "browsertarget"?

If I use "_blank" when the button is clicked it opens a blank browser window also. It does'nt seem to work with "_self" or when left blank.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried to launch an email from a flasheff button and works very well in both cases(_blank or _self).
It should work in your case too.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it works but for some reason my browser (firefox) opens a new tab for some reason even though I'm trying to open "Outlook". However, if I leave the "browsertarget" blank (duh!) it works fine...
