Filters that doesn't work with transitions?

I have noticed that certain filters doesn't work with transitions.
For example, if I add Ascii filter to text, I can't use Text transitions on that text.
Is it supposed to be like this? If so, can you please list the filters that can't be used with transitions?

Actually they work, but you need to set the value for refresh property to true for those filters.
