I thought this was a standalone tool, sort of like your JCPanorama. No?

Will it work with CS5? (a steal, apparently, at $699, plus $199 for fleash effectes *sigh*).

Yes you need to have Flash CS3, CS4 or CS5 in order to be able to use the component.
