Can't get Text effects to work.

I can't get any text transitions to work. I followed the tutorial and when I test the movie the text never shows up.
I'm using CS5. Classic Text. Dynamic Text.
Here's where the tutorial starts to differ. Apparently the tutorials were done in CS4 or earlier.
Now there's a single Embed button. When I press that, there's no auto fill. And I'm sure it's a big surprise that trying to use Adobe Help doesn't help at all.
Anyway, I'm moving on and leaving Flash eff behind on this one.
But I'd like to use it in the future.
Can anyone tell me what the deal is with CS5?

Did you embed the text corectly? In CS5 the text is embedded different. Instead of autofill now you need to check the boxes with the characters you need(if is your first time just check the first box that embed all characters).
Note:_sans font cannot be embed.
