Certain effects don't work

I can't get certain effects to work, for example I choose "Slide" and "Slide Down" or actually ALL of the options but it always slides in from the left.

What am I doing wrong.

You get this behavior if you had the free version installed and you didn't reinstall the component when you bought the premium or premium plus version. Also, make sure that when you install the component you will do it exactly as in this video tutorial(you need to install the component by opening extension manager directly from flash as in this video tutorial):

I have the same problem, that some effects don't work, just bought premium the other day. I uninstalled and reinstalled, following the video tut referred to above to the letter. Still having the same problems. Any suggestions?

When you reinstall the component make sure that you've reinstalled the premium version and not again the free version(you receive a separate package for bought version). This is the only thing I can think of at this moment regarding your issue.
