Cant get FlashEff2 working

Hi New to this tool, but not new to flash I have installed the tool and followed the instruction in the tutorials to animate an image but it just does not seem to work. I have dragged to componant on to the image and set the show/hide and also tried snapping the componant to the image and nothing happens at all.

I have tried changing the image to a movie clip and anything else i could think of but just having no luck with it working.

Any suggestions?

Just copied the tutorial exactly with the text version and its giving me an error creating SWF movie.
"be sure the destination file is not read-only or opened by another application." Now I had to manually tell the character embbeding where to find Flash Ef2.

Any Ideas why I cant just make this work like the tutorial?

First you should know that you can apply effects only on movieClips or texts.
Now, did you watch the video tutorials from our site?If no, I strongly recommend you to watch this tutorial:
[www.flasheff.com] and I'm quite sure that if you will do and you will follow exactly the same steps you won't have any problem creating the effects.
