Trouble with Show then Hide Text

Hi all,

I just bought FlashEff to use on my clients animations and I am having an issue with text animations. I set up some text to show using an effect, and that works fine, but I then want to use an effect to hide it as well. So on my layer 1 that contains my text, it comes in with the effect, then I tried to add another keyframe further down the timeline so I could start the hide effect. I put a different effect on the text at that keyframe, but it doesnt work. The original text still stays there. I tried moving a copy of the text to another layer and putting in a hide effect but same thing happens. How do I do this?
