Re: Timings? - 15 years ago
If you take a look at the list of properties the component has (http://www.flasheff.com/howtouse_properties/), you'll find there the hideDelay property. Use this property to set the time interval between the end of the show transition and the start of the hide transition. You can set the hideDelay property from the FlashEff panel by selecting the Hide tab, Options tab and the delay property.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Hand cursor on button rollover not working - 15 years ago
In case your target object is a Sprite or MovieClip, the hand cursor should be displayed without problems. In case of a TextField, it seems there's a bug. The workaround for that is to set the text field's mouseEnabled property to false and the FlashEff's useHandCursor property to true. We will address this bug as soon as possible. If this does not solve your problem, please write to the suppoby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Imports doubts - 15 years ago
The import paths are the following: - FEBJiggy: com.jumpeye.flashEff.buttonEffect.jiggy.FEBJiggy - FETSpiral: com.jumpeye.flashEff.text.spiral.FETSpiralby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Effects on nav bar - 15 years ago
Normally DreamWeaver has nothing to do with breaking Flash content. It should only read it and play it. Please contact our support team about this problem:by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Imports doubts - 15 years ago
Hi Filippo, Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Unfortunately we cannot update the documentation right now but we will update it with the next, major release of the product (which should come soon). Until that, if you would let me know which patterns do you want to use, I'll be happy to give you the import paths for them. Thanks again.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: FEBColor number in hexa - 15 years ago
Please make sure you entered correctly the hexa value and that it hadn't been accidentally changed to one of the default value. The pattern has been tested and it worked just fine.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Antialiasing is lost during the animation - 15 years ago
Hi marcoporzio, FlashEff will not support antialias for readability, only animation, since FlashEff is an animation tool.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: I can use flasheff offline? - 15 years ago
You can only use the free FlashEff version offline. For the premium full version to work, you need to be logged in, so you'll need an internet connection. In this case, you won't be able to use the FlashEff panel but you'll be able to use the FlashEff component and FlashEff patterns by code without any problem. So, Free version -- FlashEff panel works offline Premium version -- FlashEff panelby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: How to determine .transitionType when watching flashEff events? - 15 years ago
I've talked to my colleagues involved in the project and according to them the next version will have a way to allow users to know the type of transition that has been executed.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: How to determine .transitionType when watching flashEff events? - 15 years ago
The FlashEff component no longer has the transitionType property and that's why you get undefined when looking for that property. You can only use a workaround in this situation, like a global variable that holds the current type of transition (show or hide).by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Using Library on FLEX - 15 years ago
Our components were created using Flash and have never been tested with Flex. However, you could probably use them in your Flex projects if you import the .swc files corresponding to the FlashEff component and the FlashEff patterns you would like to use. Also, if you would only like to use Flex builder to write the AS3 classes for your Flash projects, you can definitely do that. You can insby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Pixel shift problem with bitmaps and alpha pattern - 15 years ago
We didn't experience that problem so we cannot tell if there is a workaround for it or not. All alpha patterns and the alpha filter itself seem to work properly. Maybe if you could put together an example that shows this problem, send it over to the support team. Also, alpha values in AS3 range from 0 to 1.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Looping Finished Movie Using Actionscript - 15 years ago
We have now posted a few video tutorials that might help you in starting to understand and use FlashEff. The tutorials are very straightforward and all the necessary knowledge os very well explained. This is a tutorial on how to create a banner using FlashEff: http://www.flasheff.com/tutorials/webBanner.html and also, here is a tutorial on how to create a slide show: http://www.flasheff.com/tutorby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: List of patterns - 15 years ago
ngreenup, you shouldn't worry about your purchased components not working. If you finish and compile a Flash project, the FlashEff component would work just fine. It doesn't need communication with our servers or any other checking of this sort. Once it's compiled into the .swf file, it works exactly how you made it work. The only one requiring Internet connection is the FlashEff panel, that iby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)

Re: Loader Pro 3x - 15 years ago
We will not update the Loader Pro component to work together with the FlashEff component. Instead we have plans to create an entirely new display component to work together with FlashEff.by negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Minor upgrade available - 15 years ago
I've talked to our programmers and according to them, it could be an Internet Explorer cache problem. You should try to clear the cache for Internet Explorer and see if it has any effect. If not, there is a text file installed by FlashEff in Flash's configuration folder, that contains the current version of FlashEff. You should send us this file on the support mail (support jumpeyecomponents coby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
Re: Minor upgrade available - 15 years ago
This is a little weird since there is no version 3.1.1. The current version is 3.3.1 and the previous one is 2.2.1. We've tested the component and the patterns and they all seem to load just fine. Please try to reinstall the component but we recommend that you first uninstall your current version. In the package containing the component, there's an installation note, so please follow that note, aby negush - FlashEff 1 (Discontinued version)
