Can FlashEff Nano be used from Flex ?

Hi, as a customer of FlashEff2, I noticed that when using a full screen application, the performance of most of the effects degrades which make the animations far from smooth (even on a quad core processor). Since FlashEff Nano has been optimized so its up to 10 times faster, I was wondering if it's possible to use it from within a Flex project in ActionScript 3.

No, unfortunately FlashEff Nano wasn't optimized to work also in Flex.

Do you have any plans to improve the performance of FlasffEff2 for full screen animations by either:

- adding support for FlashEff Nano for Flex or
- making use of the new Molehill API's of Flash 11 for hardware accelerated 3D and 2D

Are these or any other possibilities on your roadmap and do you have a timeframe for these?

You might be able to use Nano in Flex but in a as3 file project. However we can't guarantee it will work properly since the component was developed for Flash CS only.
Regarding the other question the answer is no. However we are considering creating a new version but at this moment we don't have anything scheduled.
