Documentation to create FlashEff compatible effects

I am very interested in obtaining documentation showing how I might be able to create my own FlashEff effects, in the same fashion that I can create my own effects in Flex by extending TweenEffect and TweenEffectInstance.

The reason behind my asking for this is that I would like to be able to create some Pixel Bender driven effects that would fit into my existing FlashEff2 based architecture.

I'm sorry but unfortunately, that's not possible. The component's classes cannot be extended and you won't be able to add or create your own patterns/effects.
