Difference between test movie and exported .swf movie

I have made a flash banner which i have put in loop, and its now working great when i look at it with the "test movie" function in Flash cs4.. However, when i export it as a swf movie for external use, the flasheff animations is cut short. Its like the movie is rushing along and dont wait for the animatin to finish fully before it starts next animation. The result is a not so smooth flash banner. Do anybody know what can be the reason for this?
