movie clips/buttons FlashEff not disappearing according to timeline

Greetings-

I am testing out the free version of FlashEff here, and am having a slight issue. When I attach the component to various movie clips and/or buttons and attempt to do simple effects such as FESAlpha etc, these movie clips/buttons are not disappearing when we move to a section on the timeline where they are not active. Somehow they are staying on the stage. When FlashEff is not used they work fine (with no animation) but as soon as the component is added, certain ones just do not want to work. Furthermore, if I delete the components and re-add them, the ones that do not want to work will change. Any reason why this may be happening? Thanks for your help.

Besides removing those movie clips from the timeline, you also need to remove the FlashEff instances too or call removeAll() on the FlashEff instances, on the last frame where the target object is located.
