Flash freezes/crashes on Publish

I have a file that uses three Flash eff effects and a bunch of audio files, and when I go to publish it, flash completely chokes and freezes up. When I remove the most complext flash eff effect from the timeline, the project publishes fine. Does anyone know how to keep this from happening?

Okay, after a bit more searching, I found this, and it worked.

Yeah, if you have many instances of FlashEff on the stage it's recommended that you put each instance of FlashEff and it's target in to a separate symbol.
